Baw Baw L2P Inc.

Since our inception in 2009, we have helped in excess of 200 disadvantaged learners within the Baw Baw Shire obtain their probationary driving licence. Thereby providing them with a vital tool towards empowerment and independence.

Baw Baw L2P would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our WONDERFUL volunteer mentors who have been the backbone of the success story of our organisation. We could not have achieved this without our volunteers who have selflessly given their time and energy towards mentoring these learners.

Our organisation has recently secured partial funding for additional places, increasing our capacity to help up to 40 disadvantaged learner drivers throughout 23/24.

To manage this increase and help the eager learners on our waitlist to access our services, we urgently require additional volunteer mentors to help us meet the demand and continue to make a positive and meaningful impact in our community.

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer supervisor of a learner driver? We understand both the challenges and rewards of volunteering and are committed to providing an encouraging environment for both our Learners and Mentors to achieve positive outcomes. Baw Baw L2P provides full training, we supply the vehicles and ongoing support.

Our unique program has incredibly flexible hours for fully licensed mentors of all ages and backgrounds, we are also a Centrelink approved volunteering organisation.
