With positive feedback from Mentors at a recent General Meeting, the L2P Steering Committee has ratified a proposed online booking Calendar. Based on the popular Google Calendars, the online Calendar will be given a three month probation period from February 2015 to May 2015. Starting on June 1st 2015 all Mentors will be working online to book their students for lessons. This will also be made easier as the Calendar can be accessed from Androids, I-phones and Tablets. Last week was full of awful pressure and brought to a head the imminent threat of closure of our L2P program due to lack of funds and withdrawal of 2 major supporting businesses. Last Tuesday, 20 Mentors attended a bawbawl2p.org website information session and were introduced to the idea of using bawbawl2p Google Calendar to check the bookings and making bookings and not having to go to the Police station to change, scrub out or add to the diary.
